WBTV Heads to NYC for the 2025 All-American High School Film Festival
We are proud to announce that the West Broward High School TV & Film Club has been named among the Official Selections at the prestigious 2025 All-American High School Film Festival, taking place in New York City from October 14–20, 2025. Recognized as the world’s largest festival dedicated to high-school filmmakers, the event attracts thousands of submissions from around the globe, showcasing only the very best student work. Our selected films will be screened at the iconic AMC Empire 25 Theaters in Times Square, alongside projects from the most talented young storytellers in the world. Throughout the week, our students will have the opportunity to attend industry-led workshops, connect with fellow filmmakers, explore future career paths, and celebrate their achievements at the Teen Indie Awards at the historic Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. This honor reflects the incredible creativity, dedication, and hard work of our student filmmakers—and we can’t wait to see them shine on the big screen in NYC.
2025 Official Selections
Official Selections are the standout films chosen to be showcased at the 2025 All-American High School Film Festival at the AMC Empire 25 Theaters in Times Square. Each year, thousands of student filmmakers from around the globe submit their work, and only the very best—selected by our panel of esteemed industry judges earn this distinction. All Official Selections are eligible for award nominations, with winners revealed at the Teen Indie Awards on Sunday, October 19, at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
