WBTV Is Headed Backk to the National Stage
This March, WBTV heads to Long Beach, California for the Student Television Network 2027 National Convention - one of the most prestigious student broadcasting competitions in the country. Held March 17-21, STN brings together thousands of students from hundreds of schools across the nation to compete, create, and connect. After our strong showing at STN 2026, we're heading back to the national stage with even bigger goals and even more determination.
Students will have the chance to:
● Students take on Crazy 8s contests where they brainstorm, shoot, and edit a complete film or show in just eight hours under real competition conditions.
● From Short Films and News Stories to Weather Reports, Music Videos, Documentaries, and more, students can showcase their skills in the format that fits them best.
● The convention features educational programming led by media professionals, giving students hands-on insight into the broadcast and film industries.
● Top entries earn placements, excellence awards, and the chance to be recognized among the best student media programs in the country.
